The Sitka® Cloudburst™ Jacket is constructed for a body-shaping fit, jam packed with incredible features and critical attention to detail through its brilliant design. The jacket can take a pounding, yet remains durable and hunter-friendly for miles of abuse in the harshest terrain. The lightweight, 2-way stretch, polyester fabric with micro-taped seams provide durable performance and increases mobility with full range of motion. A perfect waterproof/breathable shell for any hunter, the Cloudburst™ Jacket utilizes GORE-TEX® laminate technology that guarantees you stay dry.
The Jacket’s WINDSTOPPER® articulated, soft shell provides mobility and comfort along with water and wind resistance. Moisture-wicking, micro-grid, fleece lining provides softness to the skin and holds in much needed warmth without the bulk. The WINDSTOPPER® laminate delivers complete windproof performance that is critical to retaining warmth and conserving energy from bone-chilling winds. The membrane works with base layers to prevent overheating and perspiration build-up by allowing moisture vapor to easily escape.
OptiFade™ Camouflage from W.L. GORE is the first and only concealment system scientifically designed to the way a hunter’s prey views the world. It’s the only concealment system to combine a symmetry-disrupting macro-pattern with the fractal-geometry-based micro-pattern designed to become visually non-existent in the eyes of prey at engagement ranges of 20 meters and beyond.
The Cloudburst ™Jacket not only comes with GORE-TEX® tehcnology, it is completed with a durable water-repellent finish to help keep you dry. All zippers are welded and watertight, plus the full front zipper makes for easy on and off in rapidly changing conditions. Keep your gear dry with two waterproof, zippered hand pockets, two zippered, waterproof chest pockets, plus a zippered, waterproof upper arm pocket for everything you need quick access to. Pit zips allow you to ventilate and stay cool during and after strenuous trekking. An articulated, four-panel hood fits snugly around your head and moves with you as you turn, maximizing visibility. Even better, when the action heats up, the hood tucks into a zippered pocket on the collar. Finally, adjustable cuffs seal out any unwanted element.
