Vortex® Viper™ Red Dot Sight – 6 MOA
The Vortex® Viper™ Red Dot – 6 MOA Dot gives shooters the simplicity and speed advantage of a dot sight, while co-witnessing with suppressor height iron sights. The Viper™ Red Dot's super-low mounting height makes it the perfect solution for handguns with cutout slides. The Viper™ 6 MOA diameter gets shooters on target fast.
A fully multi-coated, ultra-clear lens offers a wide, unobstructed field of view. The left-side up/down power and illumination controls are easy to access and control. Recessed 1 MOA windage and elevation adjustments are super clean, protected from incidental contact, and always at the ready. The Viper™ Red Dot runs on a CR 2032 battery and comes with a Picatinny mount.
This Vortex® Red Dot features a Fully Multi-Coated lens with multiple anti-reflective coatings on all air-to-glass surfaces, to increase light transmission. All red dot and holographic sights will exhibit some small amount of parallax. Matching current industry practice, this small amount would be considered “parallax free” and will make a negligible difference in the Viper’s™ performance.
The construction of the Vortex® Viper™ Red Dot consists of a single-piece chassis that is compact and lightweight. Waterproof O-ring seals prevent moisture, dust, and debris from penetrating for reliable performance in all environments. Shockproof rugged construction withstands recoil and impact. A highly durable, hard-anodized low-glare matte finish adds to the sleek look of this Red Dot Sight. This Vortex® sight is also finished with an ArmorTek Ultra-hard; scratch-resistant coating, which protects exterior lenses from scratches, oil, and dirt. The CR 2032 battery life is maximized with a 14-hour auto-shutdown feature and up to 150 hours of use at the highest setting. Use at the more common lower settings can allow up to 30,000 hours.
