Vortex® Ridgeview™ Tripod
The Vortex® Ridgeview™ Tripod is light and compact enough to carry everywhere, yet sturdy enough to support a large 80mm spotting scope. Using a compact ball head, this tripod is rock solid and dependable for watching wildlife from extreme distances at high magnifications.
This Vortex® Tripod features a ball head that is a compact, handleless tripod head design reducing bulk and weight with a quick-release plate. 4 leg sections allow for maximum height with minimum packing length while 3 leg angles allow for flexible positioning and reduction of tripod height for greater stability. Flip lever leg locks make for quick adjustments of the leg height, while anodized aluminum legs provide sturdy support at a reasonable cost. A balance hook holds extra weight on the bottom of the center column for greater stability in windy conditions and rubber feet provide solid footing on slick surfaces.
