The Vortex® Spitfire™ 3x Prism Scope was designed specifically for the AR platform, and combines an impressive array of high-performance features into a rugged, ultra-compact package. When fast target acquisition in close to medium-range shooting applications is a priority, the Spitfire™ excels. Laced with advanced features, the advanced prism-based design allows for a more compact optical system without compromising optical quality.

The design of this Spitfire™ Prism Scope overall is compact and lightweight thanks to a single-piece chassis.  Sealed by O-rings, and Nitrogen gas purged to prevent moisture, dust, and debris from penetrating, this waterproof and fog-proof scope will prove reliable no matter the conditions. The rugged, shockproof construction of this scope withstands recoil and impact.

The Vortex® Spitfire™ features Fully Multi-Coated glass, with anti-reflective coatings to increase light transmission, as well as a groundbreaking Prism-based design that delivers sharp optics and allows for unique reticle designs that are visible with or without illumination. The Spitfire™ Prism Scope features the EBR-556B™ reticle, etched directly on the prism to ensure consistent point-of-aim at all times.  Selectable red/green dot illumination between five intensity levels gives you the versatility needed to match specific conditions. The battery will power your illumination from 250 hours at maximum brightness to 3,000 hours at minimum brightness. Prism Scopes are not compatible with the VMX-3T Magnifier.
