Vortex® Summit™ Carbon Tripod
The Vortex® Summit™ Carbon Tripod is lightweight with all the stability you could want with the added benefit of a smooth pan head and strong carbon fiber legs. The Summit™ Carbon is ideal for supporting spotting scopes and binoculars for hours of glassing.
This Vortex® Tripod features a 3-Way Pan Head providing smooth horizontal and vertical adjustments. 4 Leg sections allow for maximum height with minimum packing length, while 3 leg angles allow for flexible positioning and reduction of tripod height for greater stability. Twist leg locks make for rapid adjustment of leg height and reduced bulk, while carbon legs provide sturdy support at a reasonable cost. Balance Hook holds extra weight on the bottom of the center column for greater stability in windy conditions. The Vortex™ Summit™ Carbon features a split center column which allows removal of the lower portion of the center column. When combined with widespread leg angles, the tripod height can be reduced to an absolute minimum. Rubber feet provide solid footing on slick surfaces.
