Nikon® Black X1000™ Scope
The Nikon® Black X1000™ scopes are the newest and most exciting scopes from Nikon® in years. These scopes offer premium glass, tactically inspired reticles and turrets, and side focus parallax adjustment housed in an aircraft-grade anodized aluminum body. The 30mm main tube and 50mm objective lens paired with multicoated glass ensure maximum light transmission and crisp, clear images. The Niko® Black X1000™ features waterproof, shockproof, and fogproof construction, and Nikon's® No-Fault Warranty.
Nikon® has always been known for their BDC™ reticles, however tactical and long-range shooters have been asking for the MOA and MRAD reticles for years. With the Black X1000™, Nikon® delivers both of these reticles, with matching turrets. The 4-16x50mm scopes feature either non-illuminated MOA or illuminated MOA and MRAD etched-glass reticles. The 6-24x50mm scope will only be available with an illuminated etched-glass MRAD reticle. These reticles are visually simple, yet extremely effective. This will allow for shooters to compensate for windage and elevation, without adding clutter to the reticle.
Paired with each of the MOA or MRAD reticles, the Black X1000™ scopes will have windage and elevation zero-stop spring-loaded turrets. These exposed turrets are engraved with the unit of measure that matches the reticle. In addition to the windage and elevation turrets, the left side features side focus for parallax adjustment, as well as a dial to adjust brightness on the illuminated reticle options. The illuminated reticles will automatically power down after 1 hour of non-operation, to ensure better battery life. The Nikon® Black™ will also feature a quick-focus eyepiece, which is designed to turn smooth to adjust to any shooter.
The Nikon® Black X1000™ features premium glass, comparable to the Monarch 5™ series scopes, and offers multicoated lenses to improve image clarity and light transmission. This glass offers four-time optical magnification, and is lead and aresenic-free. The multicoat system uses anti-reflective and contast-boosting elements to ensure a consistently bright, high contrasting, and sharp image at all magnifications. Nikon® chose to use etched-glass reticles on the X1000™, which increases durability and longevity of their optics.
The X1000™ is one of the most exciting products to be released by Nikon® in some time. This will fill a void in the tactical market, which has been flooded with options offering cheap glass and busy reticles. the Black X1000™ delivers premium glass, a simple and effective reticle, at a price that many shooters are going to agree is a great bargain.
