Believe it or not, you can also size this slug to .452 and use it in your 45 colt. Fill only the bottom lube groove and use light loads with a fast powder, taper crimp on forward shoulder-- quiet and shoots great. This mold needs to be HOT during use if casting with a soft alloy.

I\'ve used this mold for years. It\'s an easy mold to cast with and very durable! I\'ve taken several deer with the bullet this mold drops, using an older Thompson Center Hawken.I\'ve also used this slug in .45 colt chambered Remington reproduction revolvers, over black powder charges. It works great for this application, carrying enough lube to keep my revolvers from binding up with BP fouling in competition!
