The Lyman™ Pachmayr F250 Lightweight Shotgun & Rifle Field Recoil Pad In White Line Black, Large, 0.85" Thick, Ribbed Face is a thinner version of the Deluxe F325 field pad series, and is designed with the same excellent qualities. This pad is an ideal choice where recoil is light to moderate, and features a non-slip, ribbed face and a field style contour.
Great pad for use on rifles. It is not as thick and bulky as a full 1\" shotgun type pad but absorbs recoil better than the solid or closed side types often fitted to rifles.
The pad was easy to install. Very little grinding was necessary. I installed it on a light recoiling Remington 1100 12 GA, and it looks great.
Purchased this pad for a marlin 336 cs. pad mounted using existing plate holes..the pad was a little too large for a perfect fit.. i then preceded to grind off the excess with a verticle belt sander. nice and slow. pad came out great..
