Another durable quality product from Lyman. Have never had any problems casting with Lyman\'s molds. Makes a great bullet for my original 50-70 Gov. trapdoor (blackpowder of course). Even though the advent of smokeless powder may be upon us these were still meant to be shot old-school!

Quick and easy to use. Easiest casting experience I\'ve ever had.

A great bullet for the Smith and Wesson 500. I have cast and shot several hundred rounds of this bullet. Its a step up from the 350 grain bullet and better for general shooting than the heavier bullets.

  4. Perfect for 12.7 Swedish review by FarEast257 on 6/12/2017

I recently obtained a 12.7 Swedish rolling block and wanted to shoot it. Brass was no problem and for a while I was using Hornady Great Plains muzzleloading bullets. They were easy to use (pre-lubed, etc.) but they are expensive and I wanted to be able to get my costs down. I saw this mold and decided to give it a try. The mold worked as expected - I have never had a problem with a Lyman mold. I used what is effectively pure lead with just enough tin added to give a good fill on the mold (about 20:1). It shoots great in the rolling block and is quite economical.
