The Hornady® Breakaway Cam Wire Assembly - 392227 is a handy replacement item for your Lock-N-Load AP press. The original Primer Feed Cam installed on the press is easy to break, warp or wear out if there is something a little out of alignment in the reloading sequence. By upgrading to the Breakaway Primer Feed Cam you can avoid the frustration of having to wait for a replacement. Once this part is installed if there is something out of alignment during the reloading sequence the cam pulls apart from the cam-retainer before any damage to the cam can be done. Once the problem is fixed just reinstall the cam and continue reloading. Be prepared for anything to happen with high-quality factory replacement parts. They will have your Lock-N-Load AP Progressive press loading ammunition like the day you took it out of the red box.
